At the end of June, our Chair of Trustees Robert Frith flew to Poland to visit various homes that Sue Ryder began and that the trust now supports.
It is wonderful to see these photos from the Sue Ryder Home in Kalkow which was the last home built in 2000 before Sue Ryder died.
It was also the 20th anniversary of the Sue Ryder Home at Pierzchnica, Poland and so great Robert could be present.
We have been delighted to support the building of this home and its subsequent new extension.
Also our newly commissioned book “Sue Ryder – A life lived for others” has been translated into Polish and was given out to various homes in Poland as a gift.
